On March 9, 2020, the auspicious day of Chötrül Düchen, the Tara’s Triple Excellence and Dharma Ratna teams joined the representatives of all activities of Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche (the Shedrub Mandala) to make a lavish and joyful offering to Rinpoche and Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery. The offerings were made at the time of the White Amitayus drubchen (9-day long-life practice). During these first 15 days of the first lunar month, which mark the 15 miracles displayed by the Buddha, Dharma practice, generosity and other virtuous activities are emphasized, since all the merit multiplies a hundred million times.

The Dharma Ratna Online team also made the traditional annual offering of the proceeds of sales. This year the offering amount has been equally divided between the endowment fund of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery and the production of the Tara’s Triple Excellence program. This donation was only possible due to the continuous support of our customers from all over the world; the merit is all yours!

On top of that, the Dharma Ratna team prepared a gift for our sangha and customers – a book-marker created specially for Dharma books and pechas: on one side, the book-marker bears a mantra that protects Dharma texts from accidental misplacing; on the other side, there is a reminder from Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche regarding the respectful attitude toward representations of the Buddha’s Body, Speech and Mind.

During the 9 days of the White Amitayus drubchen, these book-markers were absorbing the blessings inside the mandala. On the full moon day of Chötrül Düchen we presented them to the whole assembly of monks, nuns, and lay practitioners, and we are now also sending them to all the Rangjung Yeshe Gomde centers worldwide.
