Losar greetings 2020

Dharma Ratna team wishes you a very happy and auspicious Losar! 🙏☀️🌿

We would like to share with you some of the latest news from Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery. For 7 days preceding the Tibetan New Year the monks were performing a wrathful puja of Vajrakilaya in order to remove all harmful energy, negativity and obstacles, and invite auspiciousness, health, prosperity and all goodness to the new year.

During that time a new batches of guggul and lava stone malas (good for wrathful deity practices) were placed on the mandala-shrine for the consecration, and are now available for order. We have also made an offering for this puja on behalf of all the Dharma Ratna shop customers with request for prayers and aspirations that remove obstacles and fulfill the wishes.

One day before Losar Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche has consecrated new monks quarters and personally presented senior monks with the keys to their new rooms. For several previous years Dharma Ratna shop, along with many other sponsors, has been making annual offerings of the proceeds from sales towards swift completion of construction of this building. And we would like to express our gratitude to all our customers for your contribution to making this happen!

☸️☸️☸️ On that joyful occasion Rinpoche said: “I think many of you know, now, from here – from Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling, the Dharma, Buddha’s teachings, philosophy and meditation, our Dharma activities are spreading to different countries, helping and serving. This is the main center. And for the Buddha Dharma to remain perfectly – it is totally in human hands. Among humans – what kind of humans? – Those who gave up their mundane life and stay in a monastery, study intensively and practice genuinely, the Dharma is in their hearts. So, I very much appreciate. Our late father and mother have put their effort, and of course my brother Chokling Rinpoche, and now the senior monks – the tulkus, the lamas, the khenpos – they put their whole heart, they keep this monastery, studying, practicing, guiding and teaching to younger monks. Each of them put their love, care, respect to the younger monks. We have nearly 300 young monks. And they will grow and become genuine practitioners, with rich knowledge in Dharma, and they will serve and help to others. So, I want to extend my appreciation to our senior monks. We have monks quarters with attached bathrooms, so I’m passing the keys to them today. If there is no Sangha, there will be no Dharma. So bhikshus and bhikshunis [monks and nuns] are extremely important on this planet.” ☸️☸️☸️

Please rejoice with us! 🙏😊
