Description
The original image of Green Tara was painted in Newari style by a skilled artist in Kathmandu. Dharma Ratna shop is offering replicas of this painting, printed on high-quality canvas and preserving all the finest detail. One can then put the canvas in a frame according to personal preferences.
Tara’s left hand is in the mudra of granting protection and holding the stem of a blue utpala flower, which blossoms at the height of her ear.
Tara’s right hand, which is usually in the mudra of granting generosity, is here in the mudra of giving protection. It can also be called the refuge giving mudra.
